Job Title: Residential Construction Supervisor

Berry Homes Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate: Supervise workers and projects, co-ordinate and schedule activities, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Recruit and Train: Recruit and hire workers, train or arrange for training, and ensure that all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Estimate and Manage Costs: Estimate costs and materials, and ensure that all expenses are managed effectively to meet budget requirements.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work site is a safe and healthy environment for all employees.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, establish methods to meet work schedules, and read blueprints and drawings to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, construction site.
  • Work Setting: Residential construction.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people, trades helpers, labourers.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player.
