Your Role
In the capacity of Laborer, you will provide essential support to the Blaster in Charge and the Blast Crew during drilling, loading, and blasting activities at our mining site. This position is ideal for those seeking long-term career advancement in the Drilling & Blasting domain. Your responsibilities will include:
- Offering manual labor assistance on the blast site, including loading blast holes and managing crushed stone.
- Supporting the Blaster in Charge to ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
- Completing necessary documentation such as daily safety inspections, transport bills for hazardous materials, and logbooks.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining secure working environments in the shop and on blast sites to safeguard personal and team safety.
Qualifications We Seek:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in manual labor is advantageous.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English, with effective communication skills.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Capability to wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
- Ability to lift weights up to 25 Kg.
- A positive attitude, friendly nature, and a collaborative spirit.
