The Opportunity

At InnVest Hotels, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Gravenhurst. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front office and breakfast departments, while supporting the General Manager in the overall management of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the front office and breakfast departments, ensuring high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Support the General Manager in the day-to-day operation of all departments, including financial management, human resources, and marketing.
  • Develop and implement business plans and operating budgets to drive revenue growth and improve hotel performance.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate staff to create a productive and efficient team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as brand and legislative standards.
  • Represent the hotel to guests, employees, and members of the community, promoting a positive image and building relationships.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff, and owners in a professional manner.
  • Experience in the supervision of personnel, including recruitment, training, and motivation.
  • Background in business, marketing, and sales planning, with a focus on revenue growth and hotel performance.
  • Proficient in computerized systems, including accounting and revenue management software.
  • Ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and accounting principles.
