About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Domo Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, maki, and sashimi
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
Work Environment

Our restaurant is located in a busy area with public transportation available. The work environment is fast-paced, and attention to detail is essential. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
