Job Title: Family Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at Hamilton Associates Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting medical examinations, and developing treatment plans to promote health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations to identify diseases and injuries
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to promote health and well-being
  • Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures as needed
  • Consult with other medical professionals to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
  • Participate in healthcare policy and planning
  • Advise patients on healthcare options and provide education on healthy habits
  • Be a patient advocate and provide acute care management
Requirements:
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in family medicine
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and bend. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be organized, and have a strong attention to detail.
