About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Carpenter to join our team at Paradigm Building Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
    • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Construction and Installation
    • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
    • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
    • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Team Leadership and Management
    • Supervise other workers to ensure efficient project completion
  • Cost Estimation and Control
    • Estimate costs and materials required for projects
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction or a related field
  • Language
    • Fluency in English
  • Work Schedule
    • 40 hours per week
