Job Title: Construction Carpenter

At Paradigm Building Solutions Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Construction Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of residential and commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Preparation: Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Construction: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Finishing Work: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Estimation and Maintenance: Estimate costs and materials, and maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the construction industry

Working Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week
