Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints to prepare layouts and perform carpentry tasks
  • Build and install concrete forms, structures, and other related components
  • Complete rough and finishing carpentry tasks, utilizing math skills and attention to detail
  • Ensure completed units are level, square, plumb, and meet specifications
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Preference will be given to a Journeyperson Carpenter Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority or be a Registered Carpenter Apprentice
  • Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade
  • Fall Protection and Confined Space is an asset
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and train apprentices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
