JOB OVERVIEW

Strike Group is in search of a proficient CWB Structural Welder with a background in oil and gas construction and facility upkeep. The successful candidate will be tasked with welding various structural elements, including beams, channels, and plates, while adhering to established welding protocols and technical drawings. Our commitment to safety and quality is paramount, and we are eager to welcome a dedicated professional to our workforce.

POSITION SUMMARY

  • This is a full-time role based in our workshop.
  • Responsibilities include performing portable welding services for both intercompany and client projects.
  • Preference will be given to local candidates or those willing to relocate.
  • Opportunities for further training and professional development are available.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidates must possess SMAW and FCAW welding certifications.
  • Previous experience in both shop and field settings using SMAW/FCAW is essential.
  • Both Apprentice and Journeyperson levels will be considered.
  • Familiarity with aluminum welding and the operation of aerial work platforms is a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
  • A willingness to learn and adhere to instructions is expected.
  • The role involves outdoor work in varying seasonal conditions.
  • A focus on safety, efficiency, and productivity is crucial.
