CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide specialized support to Directors and Corporate Managers in the areas of Accounting and Reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed and complex analysis of financial and non-financial data to support the quarterly IFRS Financial Statements for Senior Management and the Audit Committee.
  • Prepare the Consolidated IFRS Financial statements included in CBC/Radio-Canada's Annual Report.
  • Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS).
  • Provide financial disclosures for complex accounting transactions or new IFRS Accounting Standards or IFRS Sustainability Standards.
  • Prepare presentations for Senior Management and the Audit Committee.

Requirements:

  • Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent).
  • Three to five years of experience in a related field, demonstrating growth and/or advancement in complexity, difficulty, or level of responsibility.
  • Fluently bilingual in French and English.
  • Knowledge and experience in areas of financial reporting and accounting.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Capacity to interpret and reorganize data and information of a complex nature for presentation to all levels of management.
  • Ability to make recommendations in writing for senior management.
  • Strong team player with ability to work with various levels of management.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
