Position Overview

The role of a Culinary Support Staff at Sandstone Motel & Lounge and Sandstone Gas Plus involves various essential tasks to ensure a smooth dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Table Management: Set tables and deliver clean dishes and utensils to serving areas.
  • Linen Handling: Carry and replace linens as needed.
  • Cleaning Duties: Clear and sanitize tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean environment.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits for meal preparation.
  • Stock Maintenance: Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas, and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
  • Kitchen Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in designated areas.
Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, where you will engage in repetitive tasks and be on your feet for extended periods. The ability to work under pressure is essential.
