Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Uhaul Co. (Canada) Ltd. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Merchandise Management: Order and manage inventory, authorize returns, and maintain accurate records to optimize stock levels.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and requests in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Store Operations: Establish work schedules, organize and maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week
