  • Route Planning and Optimization

Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, utilizing computer equipment, GPS systems, and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection

Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Cargo Management and Documentation

Load and unload goods, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and maintain accurate documentation.

Communication and Customer Service

Receive and relay information to central dispatch, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses

Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) are required.

Documentation and Record-Keeping

Proficiency in maintaining accurate driver logbooks, inspection reports, and other documentation.

Communication and Navigation

Experience with GPS systems and other navigation equipment is essential.

Transportation and Travel
