Strategic Business Advisor Opportunity

Interior Health Authority is seeking a skilled Strategic Business Advisor to join our team. This permanent, full-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Physician Compensation Team in maximizing value and minimizing risk in relationships with physicians.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to the Manager, Physician Compensation, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Ministry of Health, Health Authority, and physician contract negotiation processes and systems.
  • Develop and implement contract processes to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Advise Interior Health Managers on contractual implications and strategic actions.
  • Provide administrative and data support to the Manager in project work.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations and contract negotiation processes.
