Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Assistant to join our team at Dual Fabrication & Welding Ltd. The successful candidate will assist in the fabrication and welding process, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Sort and organize metal sheets, parts, scrap metal, and other materials for efficient production.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools to ensure precise dimensions.
  • Clean and maintain machines and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Load and unload vehicles to facilitate efficient transportation of materials.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish, adhering to quality standards.
  • Read and interpret work orders to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
Requirements
  • Experience in metal fabrication and welding is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members.
