About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at LOCA Management Ltd. as a Senior Culinary Manager. This is a permanent position that requires a strong leader to oversee the kitchen operations and ensure the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and train a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Culinary Expertise: Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to the cooking staff, and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
  • Menu Development: Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets, and develop new menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food prepared meets the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Staff Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and lead by example to maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
