Swim Instructor/Lifeguard Role

At Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services - CFMWS, we're committed to providing a healthy, fun, and active lifestyle for Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans, and their families. As a Swim Instructor/Lifeguard, you'll play a vital role in delivering quality leisure programs and ensuring the safety of our military members and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver swimming lessons to individuals and groups
  • Supervise pool activities to ensure the safety of participants
  • Design and implement activities for seniors, children, and other groups
  • Motivate students to reach their full potential
  • Expand your skills and share your passions to improve the quality of life for our military members
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience
  • Current recognized Swim Instructor certification
  • High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development or High Five Sport (successful completion by end of probation)
  • High Five Healthy Minds for Healthy Children (successful completion by end of probation)
  • Ability to react and respond in emergency situations
  • Language requirements: French essential
