Job OpportunityWe are seeking a Registered Practical Nurse/Wellness Nurse for a full-time or part-time position in the Greater Sudbury Area. This role offers a competitive compensation package, with hourly rates ranging from $33 to $37.
Requirements- A graduate from an approved School of Nursing (Registered Practical Nursing Program) or Registered Nursing Program with a current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Theoretical and applied knowledge of the Practice Standards set out by the Ontario College of Nurses.
- Relevant experience working within the full scope of practice, including medication administration, within the last two years.
- Completion of RPN standardization (all modules) required.
- Ministry of Labour Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps training certificate is required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Meditech, Client Service, OE, and GRASP software.
- Capable of practicing within the full scope of an RPN/RN, including medication administration.
- Knowledgeable about community support services, home and community care, rehabilitative services, adult day programs, and other social services.
- Effective team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work cooperatively with staff, patients, physicians, volunteers, and the public.
