Job Title: Framer-Carpenter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Framer-Carpenter to join our team at Sirwal Construction Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials to build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls and roof systems.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
* Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
* Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
* Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
* Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments

Work Environment:

* Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
* Work setting: Various locations, Commercial, Residential

Requirements:

* 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* English language proficiency

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

* Bending, crouching, kneeling
* Combination of sitting, standing, walking
* Handling heavy loads
* Large workload
* Tight deadlines
