About the RoleThe University Librarian and Dean plays a critical role in setting the strategic direction for the University Library, advising senior leaders, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve university goals. This position requires a strong leader who can inspire and motivate a team of approximately 115 faculty and staff members to deliver exceptional services and resources to students and researchers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the University Library's mission and goals
- Provide leadership and direction to the University Library team
- Collaborate with senior leaders to align the University Library with university priorities
- Model institutional values and competencies
