Key Responsibilities- Co-ordination and Scheduling
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management on hotel operations, including occupancy rates, revenue, and guest satisfaction.
- Staff Management
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
- Guest Services
- Assist guests with special needs and ensure that their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Operations and Maintenance
- Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
- Arrange for repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Supply Chain Management
- Requisition materials and supplies as needed to ensure that the hotel has the necessary resources to operate effectively.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a hotel operations or management role.
- Language
- Fluent in English.
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with overtime required.
- Physical Demands
- Standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability
- Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, and a team player.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail. They will be required to work overtime as needed and will be expected to maintain a high level of physical fitness due to the demands of the role.
