About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team at G. Cinelli-Esperia Corporation. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our personnel-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personnel Data Management: Store, update, and retrieve personnel-related data with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Database Management: Maintain and manage our personnel information database to ensure up-to-date and accurate records.
  • Registration Systems: Maintain registration systems, records, and files to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Staff Relations: Prepare and disseminate staff relations information, including health and safety guidelines and company policies.
  • Training and Development: Arrange for in-house and external staff training to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Enquiries and Support: Respond to enquiries regarding personnel matters and provide timely support to employees.
  • Job Vacancies: Arrange for advertising and posting of job vacancies to attract top talent.
  • Applicant Screening: Screen job applicants and administer employment tests to ensure qualified candidates.
  • Reference Checks: Conduct reference checks to verify candidate credentials.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports to track personnel-related activities and provide insights for HR decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Word and other relevant software.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable, criminal record check, and confidential security clearance.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and flexibility.
