In the role of IT Procurement Specialist at Hatch, you will oversee the management of software acquisitions, compliance, maintenance renewals, life cycle planning, and cost analysis.
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the business's requirements for ongoing technical support and upgrade protection on selected products are met by managing maintenance, support, and upgrade renewals proactively.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings related to renewals, software licensing, and services, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to realize these savings.
- Manage contracts and vendor relationships to optimize value creation and minimize costs associated with software licensing, maintenance, and service offerings.
- Gather and analyze data for budgeting, software compliance, inventory management, contract summaries, and cost comparisons.
- Maintain a comprehensive database to track budgeting, software compliance, inventory, contracts, and associated costs.
- Assist in developing reports to meet management's information needs.
- Respond to inquiries from end users, managers, developers, and team members regarding specific IT Software Asset Management data.
