We are currently seeking a MANUFACTURING SUPPORT SPECIALIST to become part of our BURLINGTON team. This full-time, permanent position is essential in ensuring that the production team is adequately supplied with the necessary materials for the manufacturing process. We are in search of a motivated, positive individual who thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Candidates must reside in Canada and possess legal authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship now or in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize incoming center labels
  • Ensure center labels are dried according to priority dates
  • Maintain proper storage and organization of dried label inventory
  • Verify receipt of incoming stampers and coordinate with the Quality Assurance department for inspection
  • Organize and maintain stampers post-inspection by the Quality Assurance department
  • Manage materials (i.e., stampers and labels) for completed jobs
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure they have the necessary materials for scheduled jobs
  • Purge excess inventory materials as needed
  • Update and maintain accuracy of relevant spreadsheets as materials become available
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader

Physical Requirements

  • Required to stand for the majority of the time with occasional sitting and walking
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs intermittently
  • Engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers
  • Involves repetitive motions
  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather conditions
  • Adaptable to varying sound pressure levels; hearing protection may be necessary
  • Continuous use of hands and wrists in a controlled environment

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is considered an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Business Suite
  • Strong self-initiative and work ethic with a focus on achieving sustainable results
  • Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly analytical thinker with robust problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to deliver results and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, efficiency, organization, and managing multiple projects while meeting departmental goals and deadlines
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as business needs arise
  • Must wear all required PPE (CSA approved safety shoes) for the role
