Actionmarguerite is seeking a skilled Health Care Aide II to join our team. As a Health Care Aide II, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.
- Assist with medication administration, vital signs, and other medical procedures as required.
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and resident outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in care delivery.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Health Care Aide training program.
- Experience in Long Term Care or Chronic Care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Current Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector and Adult Abuse Registry check deemed satisfactory by the Employer.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to speak French or other languages.
