Rehabilitation Therapist for Children

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Physiotherapist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to school-age children with special needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide physiotherapy services to promote physical function, fitness, and motor performance in children with special needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine functional and developmental abilities of children and develop individualized rehabilitation programs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement plans to meet the rehabilitation needs of children.
- Provide in-service education to students, teachers, and other school staff on topics related to rehabilitation and special needs.
- Assist in planning and implementing programs to promote inclusion and accessibility for children with special needs.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to client care.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Two years' recent experience in pediatric rehabilitation, including one year in a clinical setting.
- Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC).
- Eligible for membership in the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC).
- Valid Class V B.C. Driver's Licence and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
