Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality therapy services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement established therapy programs under the direction of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
  • Carry out exercises, mobilization, seating, and splinting activities as part of our therapy programs.
  • Report observations and progress to therapists and other staff members as needed.
  • Provide information to volunteers about program participants and equipment used.
  • Maintain therapy equipment and supplies, including cleaning, inventory management, and recommending purchases or repairs.
  • Ensure a safe and organized workspace.
  • Collect and report statistical data in accordance with departmental and professional standards.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant program or equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
