About the Role

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is seeking a seasoned finance executive to join our Senior Leadership Team as Vice-President, Finance. This is a permanent position at our Home Office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Finance business unit to ensure value for local co-ops and the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS)
  • Collaborate with local co-ops and foster productive relationships with business and local communities
  • Provide leadership as a strong advocate and role model for FCL's values, vision, mission, brand, and Co-op's Employee Experience
  • Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the Finance Business Unit, including Accounting, Finance & Systems, Capital Optimization, Audit Services, and Growth & Business Development
  • Lead strategic business planning, risk management, goal setting, branding, and talent management processes within the Finance Business Unit
  • Collaborate with all Business Units to enhance relationships with local co-ops
  • Provide leadership, oversight, and executive sponsorship to key strategic projects and initiatives that support and enable the Finance Business Unit as a trusted business partner to its varied customers and stakeholders
  • Lead and foster new collaborative ideas to improve the Enterprise and local co-op business
  • Provide leadership to the Enterprise in the identification, assessment, and potential mitigation of key business risks
