Job Summary

We are seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator to be a key member of our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the plant on a daily basis, performing routine maintenance, operating a loader to feed the plant, loading scale trucks, and maintaining inventory of parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the plant on a daily basis, performing routine maintenance and conducting major and minor repairs
  • Operate a loader to feed the plant and load scale trucks
  • Maintain inventory of parts and ensure that the plant is properly stocked
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment inspections and maintenance logs
  • Collaborate with the plant superintendent to ensure the highest quality of asphalt products
Requirements
  • Welding and mechanical skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Front end Loader experience (Cat 980 or equivalent)
  • Ability to work at heights
