Key Responsibilities
As a dynamic leader, you'll oversee plant operations, including production, maintenance, and quality control. You'll work closely with various teams to ensure compliance with programs and support initiatives, drive quality, efficiency, and cost, and foster a positive productive team environment.
What You'll Achieve
- Communicate key performance indicators and drive results while ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost;
- Provide direction to the plant leadership team and ensure priorities are aligned;
- Lead continuous improvement activities, reduce equipment downtime and change overs, and optimize capacity planning;
- Ensure the Company's quality and sanitation standards are met through close liaison with Quality Services;
- Work collaboratively with the Plant Accountant to ensure accurate financial reports and inventory management;
- Communicate regularly with Planning and Warehousing to optimize plant performance;
- Assist with resolving significant maintenance problems and provide direction to Maintenance team members.
Requirements
We're looking for a seasoned operational management professional with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field. You'll need exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as a strong focus on safety, quality, and food safety. Solid financial acumen and analytical skills are also essential. SAP experience is an asset, and bilingualism (French and English) is a plus.
