Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and goal-oriented Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining close relationships with new and existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities within assigned sales territory
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with new and existing clients
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for new business clientele
  • Develop leads within assigned sales territory
  • Meet with new potential clients to determine profitability
  • Consistently enter information into the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) to keep records up to date
  • Participate in training and development
  • Conduct on-site customer meetings, including office, warehouse, and manufacturing plant tours

Requirements

  • Bilingual - French and English
  • 3-5 years of sales experience, with a preference for logistics selling
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced, and at times stressful environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • General business and financial acumen
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload
  • Ability to drive, valid driver's license, use of a private vehicle, proof of vehicle insurance

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working from a computer workstation
  • Oral communication, on the telephone and face to face
  • Extended periods of movement, which may include sitting, normal walking, bending, twisting, climbing stairs, and stretching
  • Ability to deal with stressful situations and occasionally working extended hours
  • Operate a vehicle to travel within an assigned sales territory
  • Move to and from different potential customer and customer business facilities, which may be office settings and factories
