Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at NB Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Kitchen Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Estimate and manage inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that issues are resolved promptly.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to help staff improve their performance.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, ensuring that we get the best possible prices and quality for our ingredients and supplies.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary stock levels to meet customer demand.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to train and develop staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
