Position Overview

POWER ONE ELECTRICALS LTD. is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. This role involves a variety of responsibilities related to electrical systems and installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years in the electrical trade.
Core Duties
  • Install and maintain electrical control systems and panel boxes.
  • Perform repairs and replacements on electrical control systems and panel boxes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service with a focus on professionalism.
  • Install underground wiring and cabling systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
  • Design and implement single-phase service for various installations.
  • Splice, join, and connect electrical wires effectively.
  • Design and construct low voltage multiphase service for installations.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate electrical faults efficiently.
  • Instruct and mentor apprentices in the field.
  • Ground and bond electrical systems, including pools and hot tubs.
  • Estimate project costs and required materials.
  • Renovate and upgrade electrical systems in both residential and commercial properties.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs to ensure system reliability.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and technical drawings.
