Job Title: Administrative Officer

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at Toonie Holding Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement new administrative procedures and review existing ones to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Delegate work to office support staff and establish work priorities to ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Perform data entry and train staff as needed.
  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures, resolve conflict situations, and monitor and evaluate office operations.
  • Oversee payroll administration and plan and control budget and expenditures.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, as well as experience with database software and Google Drive.
