About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Mustang Glass & Door Services Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality glass installation services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the Type of Glass and Materials Required

You will work closely with our clients to determine the type of glass, frames, and materials needed for each installation project.

Measure, Mark, and Cut Glass

Using precision tools and equipment, you will measure, mark, and cut glass to exact specifications to ensure a perfect fit.

Position and Secure Panes in Frame

You will carefully position and secure panes of glass in frames to ensure a secure and watertight seal.

Assemble and Install Prefabricated Glass, Mirrors, or Glass Products

You will assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products, including doors, windows, and other hardware.

Repair Glass Doors and Other Glass Structures

You will repair glass doors and other glass structures, including replacing broken glass and reassembling damaged frames.

Assemble, Erect, and Dismantle Scaffolding, Rigging, and Hoisting Equipment

You will assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment to access high areas and complete installations safely.

Work at Heights, on Scaffolding, or Swing Stages

You will work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete installations and repairs.

Work from Man-Lift Mobile Equipment, Cranes, and Other Lifting Equipment

You will work from man-lift mobile equipment, cranes, and other lifting equipment to access high areas and complete installations safely.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Setting: Commercial
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, tools
  • Screening Questions: Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location? Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Other Benefits: Free parking available, Permanent employment, English language, 38 to 44 hours per week
