Job Title: Immunologist

About the Role:
Manitoba Health is seeking an experienced Immunologist to join our team at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. As an Allergist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases, prescribing medications and treatment, and ordering lab tests and x-rays. You will also have the opportunity to work as a clinician investigator with protected research time and a proven track record in research.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and treat diseases, including allergies and immunological disorders
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans
• Order lab tests and x-rays as necessary
• Consult with other physicians as required
• Conduct research in the field of immunology and allergy
• Publish research findings in high-impact journals
• Obtain peer-reviewed research funding from recognized granting agencies

Requirements:
• Doctor of Medicine Degree with specialization in Allergy and Clinical Immunology
• Strong record of publications in high-impact journals
• Proven ability to obtain peer-reviewed research funding
• Experience working as a clinician investigator
