Job Summary

Truck It is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Perform regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
    • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
    • Identify and report any issues with the vehicle to the maintenance team.
  • Logistics and Scheduling
    • Plan and execute routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
    • Communicate with dispatch and other stakeholders to coordinate logistics.
    • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and optimize routes.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Documentation and Compliance
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including those related to safety, security, and environmental protection.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience as a truck driver, with a focus on long-haul routes.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as needed.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with frequent changes in schedules and routes.
  • Physical Demands
    • Regularly lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
    • Work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
