- Design lightweight, manufacturable, and cost-effective mechanical systems.
- Assist the Team Leader with design evaluations and provide technical mentorship to team members.
- Ensure compliance of designs with aerospace regulatory standards, prioritizing safety and performance.
- Support designs with thorough engineering methodologies and calculations.
- Examine technical drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and other essential documentation for product development.
- Establish testing protocols to enhance simulation models and mitigate risks associated with technology validation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of experience in the design and validation of mechanical components.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor.
- Strong dedication to quality and expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Fluent in both written and spoken English; proficiency in French is an asset.
