Job Title: Supervisor, Food Services

Florida Pizza & Steakhouse Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor, Food Services to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement effective methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely delivery of food orders.
  • Train and supervise food service staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing coaching and feedback.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and ensure that all food orders are accurate and complete.
  • Ensure that all food service areas are clean and well-maintained, and that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Work under pressure.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Physically demanding.
Experience:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years.
