Responsibilities
  • Maintain clear communication and provide updates to the Production Manager regarding project status
  • Assess the category of water damage
  • Utilize truck-mounted and portable pumps for water extraction
  • Assist in identifying non-restorable structural elements
  • Aid in the removal of non-salvageable materials
  • Set up drying equipment following established protocols
  • Oversee the drying process and make necessary adjustments to equipment
  • Participate in an On-Call rotation for after-hours emergency situations
Qualifications
  • Water Restoration Technician Certification (preferred)
  • Clean Criminal Background Check
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Experience operating a panel van and cube truck
  • Capability to lift industrial fans weighing 30-40 lbs
  • Proficient in loading and unloading wheeled industrial dehumidifiers
  • Familiarity with construction and basic building materials
  • Safe operation of power and hand tools
  • Background in custodial work, pressure washing, or carpet cleaning (considered beneficial)
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
  • Empathy towards clients experiencing loss of personal property
