Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Water Damage Restoration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for providing prompt, professional, and compassionate service to our clients. Your expertise in water damage restoration, construction, and cleaning will enable you to effectively assess and mitigate property losses, ensuring a seamless recovery process for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of water damage to determine the extent of the loss and develop a restoration plan.
  • Extract water using truck-mounted and portable pumps, and set up drying equipment according to established procedures.
  • Monitor the drying process and adjust equipment as needed to ensure optimal results.
  • Collaborate with production managers to provide timely updates on restoration progress and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours emergencies, demonstrating a commitment to providing 24/7 service to our clients.
Requirements
  • Water Restoration Technician Certification (considered an asset)
  • Clean Criminal Record Check
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract
  • Experience driving/parking a panel van and cube truck
  • Ability to lift industrial fans (30-40 lbs) and load/unload wheeled industrial dehumidifiers
  • Knowledge of construction and basic building materials
  • Safely use power tools and hand tools
  • Experience in custodial work, pressure washing, and carpet cleaning (considered an asset)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision
  • Ability to empathize with clients/customers who have experienced loss of personal property
