Job Title: Restoration Technician

Are you passionate about helping people recover from unexpected events? Do you have a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills? We're seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to join our team at SERVPRO.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist in the restoration and recovery process after disasters. As a Restoration Technician, you'll work closely with our team to provide top-notch service to our customers, ensuring their properties are restored to their original condition.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to service calls and perform restoration services as assigned, following SERVPRO production guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with crew chiefs and other production personnel to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Support crew chiefs and other production personnel as needed, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Inventory and load work vehicles with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
  • Perform production processes following SERVPRO production guidelines per work order per crew chief directions.
  • Ensure clear two-way communication with crew chiefs and other technicians regarding customer needs and concerns.
  • Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job sites with a clean and orderly appearance.
  • Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while traveling.
Qualifications:
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • IICRC certifications preferred.
  • Ability to travel locally and out of state as necessary.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
  • Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Exposure to chemicals.
  • Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights.
  • Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings).
  • Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects.
