Key Responsibilities

  • Craft clear and concise non-technical messages regarding technical matters, including major incident updates and system changes.
  • Establish guidelines for IT communications.
  • Design various strategies and templates for internal communications within the IT department.
  • Collaborate with the Technical department to assess communication needs.
  • Collect data and prepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness of communications.
  • Ensure the IT Portals are regularly updated.
  • Coordinate with the Company Marketing Team for any IT-related communication requirements.
  • Plan and create engaging internal content, such as newsletters and announcements.
  • Translate IT communications as necessary.
  • Manage distribution lists for IT mass communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Communication, or a related discipline.
  • Over 5 years of experience in a Communication Specialist role, ideally within the IT sector.
  • Fluency in three languages: English, French, and Spanish.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Capability to simplify complex technical concepts for a business audience.
  • Familiarity with various communication platforms, such as SharePoint, is advantageous.
