About Us: Silver Heights Veterinary Hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional care for our canine and feline companions.
Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and proactive individual to fulfill the role of Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at supporting both our clients and our furry patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- Assist in animal restraint during examinations and procedures.
- Perform reception duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
Facility and Equipment: Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art Idexx laboratory tools, including blood analyzers and urinalysis machines. We also utilize advanced imaging technologies such as digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, and ultrasound equipment. Our surgical capabilities include soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, as well as spay and neuter procedures.
Work Environment: We collaborate closely with local rescue organizations, providing ample opportunities for interaction with animals in need.
