About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Five Rivers Veterinary Corporation. As a key member of our veterinary clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering top-notch medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process laboratory samples for diagnostic testing
  • Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures and provide post-operative care
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed by veterinarians
  • Counsel clients on animal health and provide education on preventative care
  • Perform routine animal dental procedures and assist with dentistry
  • Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Degree in veterinary technology or a related field
  • Registration as a Registered Animal Health Technologist or Registered Veterinary Technician
  • 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
