Radiological Technologist 2

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Radiological Technologist 2 to join our Medical Imaging team at Heiltsuk Hospital in Bella Bella, BC.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, observing safe radiation protection practices.
- Receive and complete requisitions, enter relevant data into the radiology information system, prepare patients for examination, monitor patients during procedures, operate radiographic equipment including processing radiographs and maintaining cleanliness of examination rooms.
- Work independently, having no practical access to a Clinical Supervisor in own discipline for the majority of designated shift.
Heiltsuk Hospital is a 7-acute bed hospital with 7 long-term care beds and a 4-bed emergency department open 24/7. Our team consists of Physicians, RNs, LPNs, PCAs, Laboratory and Radiology Technologists, Combined Lab/X-Ray Technologists, Pharmacist, Pharmacy Assistants, and Support Services Personnel.
