About the Role
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Radiological Technologist 2 to join our Medical Imaging team at Heiltsuk Hospital in Bella Bella, BC.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, observing safe radiation protection practices.
- Receive and complete requisitions, enter relevant data into the radiology information system, prepare patients for examination, monitor patients during procedures, operate radiographic equipment including processing radiographs and maintaining cleanliness of examination rooms.
- Work independently and in collaboration with others to establish workload priorities and ensure efficient patient care.
About the Team
Heiltsuk Hospital is a 7-acute bed hospital with a 4-bed emergency department, laboratory, and diagnostic imaging services. Our team consists of Physicians, RNs, LPNs, PCAs, Laboratory and Radiology Technologists, and Support Services Personnel.
