Director of Clinical Operations and Transformation

About the Role
Interior Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Clinical Operations and Transformation to lead our Maternity and Children Services and Surgical In-Patient Units. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall administrative leadership and management of these services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services that meet the needs of our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Operational Frameworks
Develop and implement operational frameworks for staffing and service delivery that support patient and family-centered care, patient safety, and quality of care.
Lead and Manage Clinical OperationsProvide overall leadership and direction for operational staff, ensuring the achievement of required outcomes and adherence to accreditation, regulatory, professional, and safety standards.
Manage Budgets and ResourcesDevelop and effectively manage capital and operating budgets that complement strategic directions within existing fiscal constraints.
Evaluate Performance and Improve ServicesEstablish effective administrative systems for maintaining, evaluating, and reporting on the operations of the portfolio, and establish systems and processes to evaluate performance of programs and services aligned with corporate direction.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require a strong background in healthcare leadership, with experience in clinical operations and transformation. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer
Interior Health Authority offers a competitive salary range of $128,298 to $184,428, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical services plan, extended health and dental coverage, and municipal pension plan.
