We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Clinical Operations and Service Delivery to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative leadership and management of Maternity and Children's Services and Surgical In-patient Units.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Operational Frameworks: Collaborate with physician dyad partners to develop strategies for quality, evidence-based clinical patient care service delivery within programs, ensuring sustainability of services consistent with established priorities and the vision, values, and strategic direction of Interior Health.
- Foster Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners to identify and plan responsive delivery systems and services, and to discuss and resolve issues related to same, in support of the effective and efficient integration of healthcare services and resources throughout the organization.
- Develop and Manage Budgets: Develop and effectively manage capital and operating budgets that complement strategic directions within existing fiscal constraints.
- Establish Workforce Plans: Develop and implement an effective workforce plan in collaboration with key partners to ensure the ongoing availability of qualified, competent staff within the context of operational demands and resource constraints.
- Provide Leadership and Direction: Provide overall leadership and direction for operational staff, ensuring the achievement of required outcomes and adherence to accreditation, regulatory, professional, and safety standards.
- Evaluate Performance: Establish clear performance objectives and indicators to assess the delivery of services within designated clinical patient care service areas.
- Establish Administrative Systems: Develop and maintain effective administrative systems for maintaining, evaluating, and reporting on the operations of the portfolio.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with legislation and safety standards to provide a healthy and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Represent Clinical Areas: Represent assigned clinical areas on internal and external committees as required.
