Position Overview

As a Massage Therapist at Nordik Spa-Nature, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our guests through expert massage therapy services. Our spa is dedicated to creating a serene environment where individuals can unwind and rejuvenate, offering a unique blend of traditional and contemporary wellness practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and prenatal massages; knowledge of lymphatic drainage is an asset.
  • Foster a loyal clientele by providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience for each guest.
  • Adhere to established protocols and safety standards while performing treatments.
  • Utilize advanced massage techniques, adapting to guest feedback to enhance their relaxation and comfort.
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of all spa equipment.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Certificate of Registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).
  • Proof of professional liability and malpractice insurance is required.
  • Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
  • A positive demeanor and friendly attitude are essential for guest interactions.
  • Strong communication skills in English are required to engage effectively with guests and team members.

Work Schedule

  • Flexible scheduling is necessary, including availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Independent contractor agreement with a competitive pay structure.
  • Hourly rates ranging from $62 to $77.
